If my free throw percent 75%

FT#1 ----------/----------/----------/----------/ 75% made
                   25%         50%        75%       100%
FT#2 -------/-------/-------/-------/     75x75% made
            25%    50%   75%  100%
FT#3-----/-----/-----/-----/     75x75x75% made

So your % gets lower every time.
